Enspiriting respectfully and humbly acknowledges the area in which we live and practice as Lënapehòkink, the ancestral and continued homelands of the Lenape peoples, who have stewarded these lands and waters in harmony since time immemorial. We pay homage to the original stewards of the land — the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Tribal Nation, the Ramapough Tribal Nation, the Powhaton Lenape Nation, and the Lenape of Cheswold Delaware. We honor the resilience of these communities in the face of ongoing colonial violence and forced removal and separation from their lands from the legacies of colonization and federal expansion. By offering this acknowledgement, we affirm our commitment to supporting indigenous land and cultural sovereignty.

May we dedicate ourselves to building restorative relationships that uplift healing of the land, mutuality, and care for all inhabitants — for many generations to come.
